I hope everyone who fishes or uses Norris for boating remembers to keep it clean! I've heard on the news that some houseboats at boat docks on Norris are dumping their holding tanks in the lake. I hope this is not the case, as that would be such a shame to ruin such a pristine lake as Norris.

While visiting friends in the Lafollette area we went with them to their new home on Norris Lake. They were in the process of looking for a dock. We went to two or three dock builders and the one they chose was C&B Docks Inc. It is going to be a beautiful dock with a roof, electric and storage area. The couple who own C&B, Mr & Mrs Hull were very upfront about their cost and building materials. They do all the work themselves and have lived in the area for many years. It is good to see a small family company can be in business and prosper. We are thinking of moving there when we retire and hope they will build our dock also! Norris Lake is a clean and lovely lake. The visit was wonderful.

We spent the weekend at the lake Aug. 3-4 and it was the most sienic lakes I have ever visited.

My brother and I bought lots for retirement at Lone Mountain Shores last year. I am looking forward to moving back to the area in about 8 1/2 years.

Just got back from lake norris and the whole family stayed in a beautiful A-Frame on the lake at Flat Hollow marina. IT was very reasonable priced and very clean. I found it on the website http://www.lakenorrischalets.com.

My husband and I moved here from Detroit, Michigan thirteen years ago and have never regretted it. Though we had no family here, the people of Claiborne County took us in as one of their own and I can't think of anyplace I would rather be. Would love to hear from other "northerners" who have moved here or are in the process of doing so.

I am looking for info on the different areas of Norris Lake to decide on a vacation location in 2003 for my entire family. Our son-in-law is interested in scouting the area for purchase of vacation property for private use. In the meantime we want to plan a family vacation for 6 to 8 people (maybe 3 bedrooms, 2-3 baths) on lakefront property with possibly a pontoon boat available. Any info on Norris Lake would be helpful to me as I begin to plan this vacation. Thanks!!
